The grant scheme provides funding to restore peatlands in the uplands and lowlands of England.

Fund manager & award size

Natural England and DEFRA

The total fund is about £12.8 million. You can normally apply for up to 75% of the total project costs. In exceptional cases the fund can provide 85% of the total project costs. See the fund website for additional details.

Eligibilty

Open to environmental groups, local authorities, charities, public bodies, individual landowners, and organisations. Landscape scale projects preferred. See the fund website for additional details.
