Summary

Each design has been chosen to suit the grazing requirements of the farmers as well as fitting into the natural environment surrounding the chosen fields. The designs have been chosen to suit a range of needs. This web page describes the layout, species used, costs, benefits and drawbacks of one of the three schemes (shelter belts). See also the other two guidance pages for the other two schemes.
