Agricology website

Summary

This extensive knowledge hub is run by Agricology, an independent knowledge platform supporting all farmers and growers to transition to more sustainable and resilient farming systems. They bring together field research and farmer experiences on practices that restore the farm ecosystem, including reduced tillage, cover crops, pollinator strips, ‘trap crops’ (which divert pests from crops instead of using chemicals), and agroforestry.

The website hosts farmer profiles, videos, podcasts, and an extensive resource library of guidance and tools that can be searched using different filters, including practice, format, date, etc. There are over 200 blogs, research project pages and Field Trials to share expertise between researchers and practitioners. They also host field days on-farm and online in collaboration with partners. Agricology was founded in 2015 by the Daylesford Foundation, Organic Research Centre (ORC) and the Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust Allerton Project, with contributions from over 40 organisations.
